Sometimes, we at DS are lucky enough to be part of some really cool events. Whether it be centered around racing, show and shine, cruises or general car-related parties, we’re all for it! So when my good mate Dan from Club High Rollers invited me to a party put on by Full Force Racing and CarsRus up at the Sunny Coast, it didn’t take much convincing.
We bumped into a couple of old Italians en route.
I was lucky enough to meet the owners of CarsRus, Andrew and David Astley, who sponsor Full Force Racing to do their rad stuff. The Police were super nice by the way.
Rocking up to a warehouse decked out in glowing transparent furniture, a band with smoke effects and proper lighting, and several million dollars worth of motorbikes and exotic cars certainly got my attention. But what kept it is how friendly everyone was.
I have to say, the highlight of the night, other than bumping into some familiar faces, were the cars. Seeing an LF-A, a McLaren MP4, and an Aston Martin One-77 was surreal. I got to work and took a few decent photos, despite the terrible lighting conditions.
