Day 2 of Import Monster SAU Nationals rolled around and we were headed up to the hill climb at the Collingrove Hillclimb Track. About a 50 minute drive through the Barossa Valley from our accommodation, we arrived at the hillclimb. It wasn’t a super long track, averaging around the late 30 second mark for a full lap, but it was a lot of fun! A lot of familiar faces from the previous day turned up.
As well as some new ones, albeit, similar looking.
This isn’t the same 240z from Mallala, however it was packing an RB25 swap.
There was a fantastic mix of machinery.
This Swift was very angry. Sounded like a bridgeport rotor on idle.
This 200 had been binned at a previous event, but that didn’t stop him coming out. That’s the spirit!
This R33 GTR is street driven.
Loved seeing the Euros out.
They didn’t mind throwing the big Stagea around the tight course!
Even the Hondas came out for a strap.
This R33 Gtst sounded awesome on gate.
The results for the day!
