Recently, we were sent a few photos of a build by Classic Car Studio, in St Louis, Missouri. When I saw the initial images, I knew we had to have them on the site!

Luckily we have progress photos, as well as the finished product. This is how the Model A started out. Not a junker, but as you can see immediately, there’s a LOT of work to be done.

Back to the bare metal, and reinforcing.

Seats being hand-fabricated.

Brass aircraft rivets

And the frankly insane end product!

5″ chop on the roof. 18×4″ front wheels, 20×8″ rears.

Custom wood roof by Goebel & Co Furniture

Check out the ridiculous amount of detail in this thing!

Interior doesn’t look comfortable, but when it looks this cool, who cares.

Handmade seats, dash, door panels, floors, trans tunnel, firewall.

This is a Weiand 671 blower…

…on a 331 cubic inch Chrysler Hemi.

Holley fuel system with MSD Ignition

Speedway Motors suspension, shocks, steering column, modified 18×4″ front wheels.

You can check out the full build process on “Speed is the New Blackā€, aired on the Velocity channel. More info here.
