My buddy Alex put together this year’s annual Honda cruise. The initial meet was at Springwood Ikea, where we all thankfully smashed down hot, cheap breakfasts – it was an insanely early and cold morning. I mean, who the hell gets up at the uncivilised hour of 7am on a Sunday morning to have a car meet?

The FFamily guys, that’s who. We met up early and had a chat, then lined the Civics up… With an Integra on the end.

After breakfast we cruised to the Morayfield BP to meet up with all the other Honda drivers, and the carpark filled up incredibly fast. The cars were awesome, and we packed out that truck stop like it was a corner store!

Yeah, I’d be jumping for joy, too.

The whole day was going really well, up until the point that the cops arrived. They were looking for 3 specific cars who had been reported racing up the highway. Everyone scattered – Honda’s in every direction – and only one fine was handed out in the end. It was to a DC2R, for being too low. Funny thing is, it was on standard suspension!

Since the day didn’t quite seem over, the FFamily guys ended up going back to Rory’s place for an afternoon BBQ. Just want to give a shout out to Bigs, who was kind enough to feed the masses!

Last, but most importantly, put your hands together for Alex, who put his time and effort into organising this event for the good of the community. Awesome job, man!
