We had our latest JDMST meet last night at Newmarket, and even though the rain kept a few people away, the turnout still dragged in some very, very nice cars. A big shout out to Oxer from StanceWorks who came up from Melbourne to shoot some cars with his buddy. Hope you guys can get some more good shots before you head back! On with the pics; full 1920 res available on click-through, as always.
The FD club had a pre-meet before the event, but unfortunately some of them dropped out due to the pouring rain. My favourites are the two on the right, MR LUU and Chris’ YHZ78. Those NT03s!
These white Super Advans also look a treat on the metallic blue.
And Pang’s S15 is a particularly nice example, slammed on those white TE37s. Click here for the full feature.
Old vs New; 14 vs 18; NA vs Turbo. An interesting comparison.
This black S2000 with its obnoxious plates is a drift machine. The appeal is undeniable.
One of my favourite cars at the meet; Rusty Night’s FC3S RX-7 looked incredible in purple/burgundy with its fitted with Super Advans and Aero mirrors. He had a bit of trouble starting it up later in the night; he had to jack it up, get underneath and uh… bang something. An O2 sensor perhaps?
Ant’s 350Z is a regular at the JDMST meets, looking as fat and menacing as ever. I’m a big fan of the new carbon eyelids!
S15s are a popular car, and for a VERY good reason. So much fun, especially in the wet!
Johnzoku’s CHI81 Micra has been around for a while, but it never gets old, especially when the owner has even more plans for it.
A pair of Toyota Chasers. Beats the usual Camry and Avalon crap we get factory delivered here in Aus.
AE111s are actually pretty rare, and with their highly strung 20 valve 4A-GE engines, they’re faster than you would think.
Disco Bob’s Datsun 1200 ute has been done PERFECTLY, it’s always a pleasure to see it!
Last but not least, Charlie’s MX-5 and Alex’s EG Civic. Mint.
Looking forward to next meet!
