After I got back from my Vietnam trip (epic, btw), I wanted to organise another JDMST meet for early June. This meet delivered, with 300+ cars packing out the whole top carpark of Calamvale Central. Thanks to Nando’s for the support!
First things first. Gus and his BNR32 GTR have been around the JDM scene for at least couple of years now. Always good to see him and Sarah, and they are always rocking a new part of some description! This meet it was a pair of mint carbon Ganador mirrors. According to Gus, the car is close to being complete, with just a few cosmetic touches left to do, and a bit more power. Sure mate, a likely story.
The Queensland 1fanatics club made a decent turnout, with some classy vehicles of their own. You guys are welcome to future meets anytime!
I believe this bumblebee transformers Camaro also belonged to one of their members.
The Nissan crowd always makes a strong showing with some very clean rides. Im particularly loving the slammed S15s! This one is rocking XD9s.
The pearl in this orange was intense. Looks like Lamborghini Arancio Borealis orange. Anyone confirm?
Pang’s S15, which we featured a little while back.
Ryan Cummings was there in his drift S13 as well. Me and this guy went to the same math class in high school back in the day, but our lives have taken quite different routes, with him being a professional drifter, and me doing photography… Always curious to find out what people have been up to!
Heaps of Micras again this time!
Hao’s old Laurel, still looking good.
I’d say the numbers of Hondas and Nissans were about par. Here are some of the best:
Loving Alex’s Civic, and the new sets of wheels it has literally every month. Watanabes this time, probably in some obscure/ultra rare fitment.
A big welcome home to one of our oldschool crew, Tim, who’s been in Canada for a while.
I was really liking the look of this clean RX8, being driven by a P plater (!). Would look insane with some nice rims!
This beamer was awesome. Anyone have more info?
The Streetkarnage brick.
Lastly, the boys and I cleaned up after the meet, to make sure Centre Management were cool with us coming back. This is the pile of shit we gathered. Please put litter in its place boys and girls, having to clean up after others isn’t cool.
Good meet all up, great turnout, and the sponsors & property manager were happy. Winning!
