The other night I got a call from my good friend Nghia. He told me about plans to bring Misa Campo to Australia, to have her promoting Bamboo @ Magic City. “Cool” I thought, but what do I have to do with this? “Oh Varun at 101 wants you to come down and take some photos of her.” Wait… WHAT?
So I found myself down at 101 on a Sunday night with all my lighting gear and a bunch of customers with their cars, waiting for Misa to rock up. She eventually arrived looking pretty exhausted, and after only 2-3 properly lit images, her managers asked that we do more candid-style shots. This is the image that resulted from those first couple of shots.
I took a few more images of Misa with the owners of the cars as well as Varun,
before she signed some posters for the boys.
Her and the managers bailed to get ready for Bamboo, but the boys at the shop wanted to celebrate in signature fashion.
