Hi all!

Here is my view of powercruise. I’ve condensed all the days down into one post since Rory is doing a large coverage of it all (and I’m not really the writing type either…heh).

Powercruise is an annual event held at Queensland Raceway over 4 days. The idea began many years ago when Gup (event owner/organiser) decided it was time for someone to hold an event that him and his mates could give their cars a good beating at, without worries of police problems. Unlike many other events, powercruise caters for almost all types of car enthusiasts due to holding Street Cruise Sessions, Drift Sessions, Off Street Drags, Dyno Competitions, Powerskid Competitions and a Show And Shine event. This generally means that powercruise pulls a massive crowd shown well and truly with Gup’s recent purchase of a Lamborghini Gallardo!

I was able to hook Rory and I up with media passes for the long weekend, which I think he liked :P once you get media you never go back bro! Anyways, enough chit-chat, here’s my contribution of photos.

Owner of a Shelby Cobra reversing his car off the truck. Not sure if it was a replica, looked great regardless!

Awesome little Datto 1600 doing a worthy burnout for the crowd.

The two stunning girls promoting Monster Energy Drinks at the event!

Decent angle from this S14!

Chev in the Off Street Drags. As you can see by the officials reaction, it was loud!

A friend Wades 9 second commodore. A lot of respect has been gained after frying the tyres at 150+kph till we ran out of track.

The well known silvia/skyline ute holding a decent exit. It's cool to see this kinda thing once in a while.

FJ(?) Ute owned by Wizzard Concreting. A lot of money put into this thing!

Thanks-
