Saturday was the big hitting day at WTAC 2015. With all the cars set up to do their full power, set up, flying time attack laps, it’s definitely the busiest day of the weekend.
First thing in the morning though, we decided to drop in on the boys down at Queen Street Customs. Their workshop is full of mindblowing cars, the quality of work clear to see.
Milad from QSG joined us in the widebody C63, and we headed down to Eastern Creek.
We got there just in time for the drifting demos as well as the Hotwheels trophy trucks.
Just a plane taking off on the main straight, no big deal.
Whilst we waited for the cars to hit the track, we went for a walk through the show n shine area, presented by The-Lowdown.
One of 2 of Australia’s first Mclaren 675LTs, arriving at the same time as a pure white version. Both beautiful Brisbane cars.
Babes.
The afternoon was a mixed bag of racing. The weather held out for a while, but eventually hit the track, dampening times towards the end.
With the wet weather, some certainly decided just to have a play, having laid their best times earlier in the weekend.
Wet lap bragging rights were still out for the rest though, giving it their all.
The results for Pro Class.
Congratulations to the Tilton team and the Evo for taking out the 2015 WTAC!
